CS:GO Asia Summit announced with $60,000 prize pool

Perfect World has invited four teams from the Asia-Pacific region for their $60,000 event in Shanghai, China that will be held on April 2.

The Chinese organisation, who was the host of the Asia Minor Championship for PGL Major Krakow 2017 and the main distributor of CS:GO in China after buying the rights from Valve in July 2016, has announced another tournament called the "CS:GO Asia Summit", with the intention of promoting the Asia-Pacific region to the world and improving the teams' relationships within the scene.

CAS 2018 will feature four of Asia's top teams

A best-of-three, single-elimination format will be used for the one-day tournament. The following four teams have been directly invited:
